Job description

About Us

Luzmo is an embedded analytics platform that enables software vendors to integrate interactive dashboards and insights directly into their applications. Founded in Belgium in 2015, Luzmo operates in over 33 countries, with core markets in North America and Europe.

As we are growing, our marketing and sales teams work hand in hand to build meaningful relationships with prospects and customers, driving sustainable growth through authentic engagement and measurable impact.

We’re now looking for a Lead Engagement Specialist — a creative, proactive professional who thrives at the intersection of marketing and sales. If you’re part communicator, part strategist, and love connecting with people in a smart, personal way, this is the role for you.

Role Overview

As a Lead Engagement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for engaging and qualifying inbound and marketing-generated leads across multiple channels — from website inquiries and event sign-ups to webinar attendees and campaign responses. You’ll combine the persistence of a BDR with the creativity of a marketer, crafting thoughtful outreach and nurturing experiences that turn curiosity into meaningful conversations.

This is not a traditional cold-calling BDR position. You’ll play a pivotal role in warming up leads, building relationships, and personalizing engagement, working closely with both Marketing and Sales to move prospects through the funnel efficiently and effectively.

Why This Role Matters

This is a bridge role — connecting the storytelling of marketing with the conversion-driven mindset of sales. You’ll help ensure no lead slips through the cracks, every prospect feels valued, and our pipeline stays strong and healthy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and qualify leads from diverse sources including website visitors, webinars, content engagement, event and social media interactions.

  • Evaluate lead quality based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), intent, and interest, ensuring only high-potential leads are passed to Sales.

  • Nurture leads through tailored content, personalized outreach, and digital campaigns until they are ready for a sales conversation.

  • Combine outreach and nurturing — balancing phone calls, emails, social media interactions, and marketing automation tools, including AI agents, to maintain consistent engagement.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead scoring, campaign messaging, and content strategy based on real-time feedback from the field.

  • Maintain CRM hygiene for lead pipeline by tracking all lead interactions, updating lead status, and ensuring data accuracy.

  • Partner with Sales to ensure smooth and timely handoff of qualified leads,  and incorporate their feedback on lead quality and relevance.

  • Monitor and report on key engagement metrics, providing insights to improve lead conversion rates and campaign performance.

Job requirements

About You

  • Outgoing, confident, and personable — you enjoy building connections and having conversations that create value.

  • A natural communicator with excellent verbal and written English skills; additional languages are a plus.

  • At least 2  years of experience in lead follow-up, inside sales, BDR/SDR work, or marketing engagement (SaaS or tech industry experience preferred).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple leads, campaigns, and priorities.

  • Comfortable using CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Sales Navigator, Lemlist, Clay, N8N or similar).

  • Proactive and creative — you don’t just follow scripts; you craft meaningful, personalized outreach.

  • Data-driven mindset — you measure what works and adapt quickly.

Perks:

  • Base salary and commission structure.

  • Flexible holiday policy.

  • International get togethers.

  • Healthcare coverage.

  • Any equipment/software/tech that you need to do your job.
