Luzmo is seeking a Solutions Engineer: a hybrid role at the intersection of technical expertise and customer success. You'll play a crucial role in both pre-sales and post-sales stages, helping customers leverage the power of embedded analytics to deliver exceptional user experiences within their own platforms.

What You’ll Do

Pre-sales (Solutions Engineering):

  • Partner with Account Executives to support product demos, technical deep dives, discovery calls, and Proof of Concept (PoC) projects.

  • Translate business use cases into embeddable dashboard, AI-powered and actionable insights. 

  • Advise on best practices in dashboard design, performance optimization, and integration architecture.

  • Demonstrate Luzmo’s embedded analytics capabilities in live environments tailored to customer needs.

Post-sales (Implementation & Support):

  • Collaborate with CSMs to ensure customers get continuous value from Luzmo and;

  • Guide customers through onboarding, integration, and launch of their embedded analytics.

  • Provide technical consultation on data modeling, performance tuning, and dashboard usability.

  • Collect customer feedback and relay it to our product and engineering teams to improve the platform.

  • Help customers understand and apply Luzmo IQ, our AI-powered engine, by translating business needs into AI-driven use cases and guiding implementation and fine-tuning.

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing data/analytics engineering, solutions engineering, or BI implementation role.

  • Proven expertise in SQL and working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake.

  • Hands-on experience creating data visualizations and dashboards in Luzmo or others like: Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Thoughtspot or similar.

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL workflows, and performance optimization.

  • Familiarity with embedded analytics or working with APIs/SDKs is a plus.

  • Experience with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, Redshift, ClickHouse, DataBricks) is a plus.

  • Programming experience in Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or similar is helpful but not required.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • You are able to work EST business hours.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Luzmo or other embedded analytics platforms.

  • Background in SaaS, product/sales-led growth environments, or developer-first platforms.
