Luzmo is an embedded analytics platform that enables SaaS vendors to integrate interactive dashboards and insights directly into their applications. Founded in Belgium in 2015, Luzmo operates in over 33 countries, with core markets in North America and Europe. Rebranded in 2023 and bolstered by fresh funding, the company is set for significant growth beyond its current €5M ARR.


Role Overview  

The Sales Manager at Luzmo will be essential in driving net revenue growth through new sales and increased customer satisfaction, fostering upsell opportunities and retention. This role involves leading a team of Account Executives (AEs) and Customer Success Managers (CSMs), providing hands-on support, training, and operational guidance. The Sales Manager will work closely with the VP of Growth and the Marketing team to ensure alignment across sales, growth, and customer success strategies while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

This role reports directly to the CEO, with a close working relationship with the VP of Growth.

Current Team Structure  

  • Sales Team: 4 AEs (3 based in Europe, 1 in North America).

  • Customer Success Team: 3 CSMs (2 in Europe, 1 in North America).

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Success Leadership  

  • Lead both the Sales and CS teams, ensuring they meet their revenue and client satisfaction targets through structured support, hands-on coaching, and ongoing skill development.

  • Create and implement an efficient process to manage the customer lifecycle from acquisition through to retention and expansion, fostering close collaboration between Sales and CS teams.


Operational Management and Field Coaching  

  • Spend significant time in the field with AEs and CSMs to provide tactical support on client engagements, account strategies, and performance optimization.

  • Drive a high-performance culture by setting clear objectives, establishing performance metrics, and ensuring accountability for both Sales and CS teams.


Customer Success Strategy and Client Satisfaction  

  • Oversee customer success initiatives, focusing on proactive engagement, upselling, and renewals to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue retention.

  • Act as an escalation point for high-priority customer issues, collaborating with the CSMs to resolve complex challenges swiftly.

Revenue Growth and Pipeline Optimization  

  • Work closely with the AEs to ensure consistent progress toward sales targets, providing tactical guidance on managing strategic accounts and enhancing lead conversion.

  • Support a data-driven approach to pipeline management and performance tracking, adjusting tactics to maintain steady growth.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience managing both Sales and Customer Success teams in a B2B software environment, ideally with a technically focused product or specifically within the analytics market.

  • Hands-on experience in selling complex software products that require high-touch, white-glove services

  • Strong track record of direct sales achievement, coupled with operational skills in process improvement, pipeline management, and team coaching.

  • Skilled in managing customer relationships throughout the lifecycle, with an emphasis on retention, upsell, stakeholder management and client satisfaction.

  • Ability to work closely with growth or marketing teams to synchronize strategies across acquisition and retention efforts.

  • Data-driven approach with hands-on experience in CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, to track and optimize performance across teams

  • EU based, willing to frequently travel to our Belgian office
